Milldale bridge motorway corridor and eastern approach complete

We are very pleased to announce that the Milldale SH1 crossing has reached some very significant milestones.

• The motorway corridor works are now complete, with our expectation to exit this space by the end of October
• The eastern approach to Milldale is also now complete
• Motorway barriers and landscaping are also complete, with 80% of the bridge barriers now in place

We now put all our attention on the completion of the Milldale approach from John Fair Drive. Works are expected to be almost complete by Christmas, with coucnil sign off then the opening of the bridge planned for the new year.
