Stunning Start for Milldale's Surf Club Scholarship

Registration day was buzzing with everyone enjoying the sun and surf in front of the club.

As proud sponsors of the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club, Milldale wanted to go the extra mile by encouraging the participation of young new members through the Milldale Junior Scholarship.

Kids between the ages of 3 and 13 who had never given it a go were invited to apply for 25 annual scholarships. There was an overwhelming response and registration took place at the club on November 3rd where Orewa Beach turned on a stunning day for over 300 juniors and their families. The annual scholarship programme is planned for at least 3 years, with the Milldale developers being supported by generous donations from its Approved Build Companies who also support and encourage the great work being done by the club across the wider Orewa community.
